Rio Grande College was the site for the District Science Fair where several Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School students attended and represented their projects. Pictured here are 7th Graders – Kathryn Nelson, Reed Lasswell, and William Burke with their project “Stick to It!” looking at the strengths of various types of tape when exposed to heat, water and weight to determine which was most cost effective for shipping purposes.
Lila Rideout scored an Excellent Rating with her project on ballet, and Viv Wheeler will be advancing to the State District Fair on May 12! Viv scored an whopping 39/40 as her score and earned a Superior Rating for “Bait Debate” about which is better to catch fish, live bait or fake bait factoring in various conditions.
We’re sure proud of our Science program!
