Rio Grande College was the site for the District Science Fair where several Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School students attended and presented their projects.  Pictured here are 7th Graders – Kathryn Nelson, Reed Lasswell, and William Burke with their project “Stick to It!”. Their project looked at the strengths of various types of tape when exposed to heat, water, and weight to determine which was most cost effective for shipping purposes.

Lila Rideout scored an Excellent Rating with her project on ballet, and Viv Wheeler will be advancing to the State District Fair on May 12!  Viv scored a 39/40 and earned a Superior Rating for her project titled “Bait Debate”. Her project compared live bait vs fake bait while factoring in various conditions.

We’re very proud of our Science program!
