Mrs. Milligan – Principal, retires after 36 years of dedication.

This fall, for the first time in 36 years Kathy Milligan will not be apart of the daily life of Notre Dame High School.

Milligan who has been principal since August 1995 will be retiring at the end of the 2015-2016 school year.

Milligan joined the Notre Dame staff as a 7th and 8th grade Math and Religion teacher as well as a high school Home Economics teacher in 1980.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Math with a minor in education from Mt. St Joseph College, and went on to earn a master’s degree in education from The Ohio State University

During her 21 year tenure the school has added AP courses to the curriculum, as well as improvement projects such as a brand new Innovation Center equipped with iPads and iMac’s for students to use.

There have been improvements made to the gym consisting of a new gym floor and new bleachers, also an addition of a brand new sports field house.

Kathy will miss faculty, staff, and students. During her retirement she looks forward to staying involved and attending sporting events. On behalf of the Notre Dame community we wish you a very happy retirement and thank you for your service!
